Mayor Ridenour has led with integrity and righted the ship by balancing city accounts that were overspent by over $3.3 million while paying off over $4.4 million of city debt without increasing taxes or borrowing new money.

Dan Ridenour has had the privilege of serving as the Mayor of Muncie since being elected in 2019. Ridenour previously served four years on the Muncie City Council. Professionally, he comes from 30 years in the banking and finance field where he served as a Regional Manager for three different banks over his career.

Mayor Ridenour is active in the community, volunteer for organizations ranging from helping low-income seniors with home repairs to preparing students for kindergarten in Muncie Community Schools. Dan and his wife, Sherry, have four children and four grandchildren.

As Mayor, Dan Ridenour has delivered for Muncie.
